But Trent Reznor and his new wife Mariqueen Maandig (formerly of band West Indian Rocker Girl) seem to have an idea about wiping out those pesky cloud apparitions that religious folk love. And it’s in the form of an electronic/industrial rock act!

Sounds highly similar to much of Trent’s previous body of work, except with female vocals… which reminds me of many Sneaker Pimps albums. Now that I think about it, when I finally saw Nine Inch Nails live at Soundwave festival 2 years ago he seemed really contented and almost happy or satisfied about where he was in his life. Must be the woman in his life, and that his clothes are actually getting washed now.

What I love about Trent’s music releases these days is he makes ALL OF THEM AVAILABLE FOR FREE LEGAL DOWNLOAD… including the last two NIN albums The Slip and Ghosts, the album he produced for Saul Williams – Niggy Tardust and now How To Destroy Angels… I read an article interviewing Trent in superior Melbourne newspaper The Age‘s entertainment section, and he said something along the lines of not being able to avoid the digital age and people having copies of his music, because as soon as it’s released it becomes part of the public sphere, so he makes everything available for FREE (not a verbatim quote, it’s coming from my memory bank)… BUT if you feel generous you could pay some money for a higher quality audio download.

So do some internerds searching and you shall find all these industrial glitchy/bleepy/g-tar albums!! I highly recommend the hip hop album he produced for Saul Williams it is fucking sick!!
