Posted about More Frames animation studio a while back for Ill Bill‘s “War Is My Destiny” clip. I was reminded of Bill after doing some listening to Necro this week, so I thought I’d throw up their other awesome work for Bill’s track “My Uncle.” Bill is angry and raw, More Frames darkly illustrates him.

Came across this clip a while ago, just thought I’d re-up it to go hand in hand with the My Little Ponies figures post. Film editor Bill Brewer has re-cut MLP clips to synch with the Wu Tang‘s “Shame” in a rocking amalgamation of intermeme and the rap music that gives the kids the brain damage!

I haven’t actually seen an episode before (probably because it was made back in the 60s…). After seeing this though it looks like it could be right sown my alley… Bros being alpha bros blowing shit up, mummies, guns, dinosaurs, alien mechs, all tied together to a cheeseball action jazz soundtrack. Anyway, check it as it’s an awesome example of the craft that is stop motion animation.

On the 90s nostalgia-ing hard tip… I used to rent this cartoon on VHS from the video store regularly when I was a kid… and I think I also realise why I love Mishka’s eyeballs and one eyed skeleton Simon and other cartoon horror oddities so much!!! Greg and the team make no bones about also loving Madballs, their store in Brooklyn is littered with the toys, among a million other toys (see Digital Gravel’s tour of their office below)! So sit back and pretend you’re 9 again (even though you’re 25+) and watch!
