Getting excited: GOING TO EUROPE in less than one week. OVER NINE THOUUUSSAAANND. As soon as I touch down in London I have to take off to Barcelona Españolio for Sonar Music Festival!!!!! It is a largely electronic music festival and I am salivating just thinking about it.
Headliners: The Chemical Bros, 2manyDJs, LCD Soundsystem, Dizzee Rascal, Air, Booka Shade, Hot Chip
But it’s smaller acts on the bill I really wanna see, who probably wont make an appearance in Aus any time soon: Mary Anne Hobbs (of BBC Radio1) and her electronic dubstep/experimental stage featuring: Roska, Flying Lotus, Joy Orbison & Hudson Mohawke.
I’ve been listening to Hudson Mohawke’s Radio1 essential mix heaps… it’s glitch, dubstep and instrumental hip hop, and features remixes of gangsters and rap songs!!! Teh Crookers posted this very same mix on their blog but WhATEVVRRRR REPOST
